Banded Round Shield MD

Here we have for you one of our 'basic' 'Medium Detail' Round shields. As you can see this model is made in a 'banded reinforcement' fashion inspired by actual historical method. This was part of a product sample commission for the Empty Thrones game in San Diego CA, and was an immediate success. The nearly all foam construction offers optimum safety, extremely light weight, and great resilience, combined with the structural plate the strap and handle are mounted on to give a firm grip. The finish is done with carved planks, raised studs and rivets, and a painted wood grain.
